I had never sought out coaching before. But as a young physician in fellowship as well as a mom to 2 girls, I was realizing that I am extremely burnt out and am unable to maintain a work life balance. I was constantly overcome with guilt around not being able to give enough time to my kids and not being able to be the best fellow I can. This was breeding a lot of resentment guilt and self-criticism and of course, the cycle was vicious.

In the end, I had a much better vision of my upcoming year, I had a comfortable and productive hold on my work schedule, I made better choices for my fitness, found mentors for the different ventures in my life that I wanted to explore, and strangely enough, I started reading books again, something I had been putting off for years which helped vent out my brain even further.
