"Amna was invited to speak at one of our weekly resident wellness hours and gave a very thoughtful (and thought-provoking) talk on self-compassion, identifying how we often lack it as physicians and how we can introduce certain exercises into our lives to build up this underused but necessary skill. I believe this was the first of its kind talk for our program and I am grateful to Amna for coming up and sharing her wonderful, kind, and soulful thoughts with us.
